Adam has worked in a practical capacity in agriculture from an early age. Having gained a BSc degree in agriculture from Wye College, London University, he joined a circa 25,000 acre corporate farm management company on their management training programme, based in Yorkshire. Adam joined Brown & Co in 1997 and leads their Central and Eastern European practice, where he is a Partner and has been based from the Torun office since 1999. With 15 years’ experience of large scale agriculture in Russia, Ukraine, Poland, Hungary, Serbia, Romania and Bulgaria, Adam has developed the Partnership’s investment consulting practice to include a range of due diligence, valuation, and post-acquisition services. Working with institutional investors and private offices, Adam provides advice on strategic / operational business reviews, financial and business planning, critical business assessments, restructuring, joint venture advice (set up and management), processing and marketing arrangements, non-exec board roles, senior management recruitment and direct management where appropriate. He was involved, at a senior executive level in the largest primary agricultural IPO to date.
